Traffic and Parking is responsible for ensuring the orderly and controlled flow of traffic, and enforcing the City's parking regulations through engineering analysis, and by maintaining all traffic signals, roadway signs and parking meters. The department advises and coordinates with Planning, Public Works, Police, and Fire on all matters related to traffic and parking. In addition, the department offers recommendations to the City’s Traffic Commission in developing rules and regulations.
